Then you must come to a Long Island Beer and Malt Enthusiasts monthly meeting.
Beer enthusiasts and home brewers gather at a Long Island brewery for an evening celebrating local craft beer.
Free to attend the meetings feature brewer's duels, club events, raffles, and more, so bring a friend.
The official meeting starts at 730, however, many members arrive early and enjoy good company.

A collaboration between Fish Guy Photos and übergeek Brewing Company, “Geek Talks” is a lecture series with a night of great beer, delicious food, and a wealth of knowledge shared by local naturalists, educators, researchers, and other Geeks. Festivities start at 700 pm, lecture starts at 800pm.
This week's speakers are Katherine and Andrew Luberto. Katherine has been keeping bees for several years, is currently pursuing Cornell University’s Master Beekeeper certification, and has been a science educator for over twenty years. Andrew sits on the Homegoverning Committee of the American Mead Makers Association, is a BJCP Grandmaster II w/mead certification, and is an Advanced Cicerone.
