On Saturday, November 23 I will be having a mead making session at my house in Coram. I will be making a mead with Mexican Coffee Blossom honey and hope some of you would like to join me. I would encourage anyone who's interested to bring some honey and a fermenter and make a mead with me. Making a mead is something that requires very little equipment and can be as simple or complex as you'd like.
Andrew Luberto will be in attendance and have a few honeys for us to sample in addition to some meads to sample and discuss. He will also be making a Cyser (cider/mead hybrid) and there will be several gallons available to those that would like to take some home.
The festivities will start at 1 p.m. and there is space for 6 to 8 people to attend. It's going to be very informative and a lot of fun. Please use the sign up sheet below to reserve your spot.

In the spirit of fellowship and in the interest of giving back, we're inviting all LIBME and Tri-Club members for a casual pub crawl through Bay Shore on Saturday, November 30th from 1pm to 5pm. It'll be a self-guided tour to ensure that participants are able to choose their favorite establishments and spend as much time as they choose there. As most of you know, Bay Shore has a plethora of places for drinking and dining, most within a short walk of one another. I've listed a few of our favorites ( in alphabetical order) - with hyperlinks, below.
